As the first new international music company of the streaming age, we do things a little differently – putting the interests of artists and songwriters at the heart of all we do. We are seeking: Sr. Director, A&R - Mexico As part of BMGs Latin America hub team, you will be responsible for shaping our creative profile in our new Mexican company. You will develop local talents and acquire catalogues in publishing and recorded while interacting with BMGs global artist and writers network and colleagues. What You'll Be Doing. Looking after our songwriters, artists and partners as contact person in the daily business. Building the domestic artist roster across Publishing & Recorded Music. Building strong relationships with artist managers, artists, and partners for BMG Mexico. Developing new and existing writers. Recognizing new trends in the media world and adapting them for our business. Monitoring the creative activities within our partnerships and the resulting income development. About You. You have already gained relevant experience in a similar role within the music(either recorded or publishing), artist management and/or entertainment industries. You have in-depth knowledge of the music business and the Latin American market as well as an existing network in the Mexican music scene. As a strong communicator, you understand how to work with internal and external stakeholders. You have a hands on mentality and team spirit. You have a service-oriented entrepreneurial mindset. You are fluent in both English and Spanish (written and oral). You have a passion for music About BMG. BMG is a new kind of music company.
