Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects. ObjectiveYou will be responsible for all aspects of advanced engineering and analysis. Responsibilities: Clearly identify the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks.Recognize and communicate scope and design changes immediately.Provide on-site assistance during commissioning.Provide Guidance to subordinates.Coordinate work activities among members of the work team.When you are the responsible person in charge of a project, lead and coordinate the efforts of an Engineering/Design group to complete the scope, schedule, and budget objectives.Develop typical installation details, instrument index, PLC cabinet arrangements/marshallings, instrument junction box and operator panel arrangements, calculation memories, instrument specification sheets, input and output listing, control logics and loop diagrams with minimal supervision.Develop instrument specifications.Develop control system installation specifications.Knowledge in specification of Programmable Logic Controllers, Human-Machine Interfaces and/or Distributed Control System (DCS) Equipment, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Safety Integrity Levels.Provide review services when required.Determine quantities for construction and provide cost estimates What are you going to bring? Education and Ratings: Control and Automation Engineer, Electronics Engineer (Master's degree desirable)Intermediate English. Experience:Minimum of 7 years developing: Instrument Index, Instrument Specification, DCS Specification, PLC, SCADA, Data Sheets, Installation Typicals, Control Loops, Bill of Materials, Concept Catalog, Elaboration of plans of Signal Routes, Cable and Conduit Certificate, ability to size valves (Calculation Memory) of control valves, Safety Valves, Orifice Plates, Control Logic Diagrams, Cause and Effect Matrix, Control Philosophies, Interlocks, Interconnection Diagrams, Volumes, Third-party engineering review. Develop Design Bases and Criteria, Dynamic Graphics, Control Narratives. Able to develop a cost estimate, detailed engineering program, and man-hour budget for a small project or a large project area. Knowledge: Knowledge and Use of Section 500, Hazardous Locations (Classified) in the Latest Version of theNational Electrical Code (NEC).Knowledge and application of codes and standards such as National Association of Manufacturers ofelectrical equipment (NEMA), the Society of Instrumentalists of America, etc.Knowledge of ISA, API, IEC standards. TransCanada Regulations and Standards.Knowledge and application of codes and standards such as National Association of Manufacturers of(NEMA), the Society of Instrumentalists of America, Software: Knowledge of Autocad 2D and Microstation.Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) knowledge.PDS Knowledge, PDMS.Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
